 Welcome to Cookbook Countdown
I'm co-hosting Cookbook Countdown together with Joyce of Kitchen Flavours. If you are like us, who love to collect cookbooks and have an overcrowding bookshelf (or bookshelves!), yet most of the books have not been used at all, now is the time to change that. Join us at Cookbook Countdown

 My June cookbook:
Celine J Marbeck's Quick & Easy Cooking
pgs 56-57: Gula melaka lamb chops
served with creamy raw slaw of red and white cabbage and carrots.
I overcooked the chops... but the sauce was delish, great with bread!
ground black pepper, chili paste (I used harissa), flour,
salt, palm sugar, lime juice
above ingredients - mixed and made into a paste.
marinate the lamb chops with it.
butter for pan frying,
onions peeled and thickly sliced,
tomato - quartered,
button mushroom - sliced,
water and meat stock cube.

and look what I managed to lay my hands on?
